Hi! I’m Raoul Verhoeven. My passion for playing the piano started with my grandfathers. Both Grandpa Ruud and Grandpa Gert had a piano at home. Inspired by their virtuoso playing, I began experimenting myself. While my grandfathers loved Bach or Kurt Weill, I was more drawn to pop music. Before long, I started keyboard lessons, followed by band coaching and music production classes.

In 2019, I took a gap year to fully focus on music. With my band MOYO, I wrote a lot of music and performed frequently, including at festivals like Parkpop and Sniester. In 2020, I was accepted into the Conservatorium van Amsterdam for the bachelor’s program in pop music with a major in keyboards. I’ve developed into a versatile keyboardist, songwriter, and producer. I love the creative process, from the first voice memo to performing on stage. Performing and theater are also a huge passion of mine—being on stage is where I truly come alive and let myself go. My love for music runs deep, and it’s amazing to share and pass on that passion.
