Cancelling & Moving Lessons

You can send the teacher in question an email or app or email with admin@logblock.nl.

We assume the participant prioritizes the agreed lesson appointments. Cancelling lessons is at your own cost. Exceptions include exceptional family circumstances, a broken limb, or long-term illness.

No, replacement by another teacher does not entitle you to cancel or refund.

No, the lesson time is fixed in principle. Changes can only be made in consultation and at the start of a new period of 10 or 20 lessons.

No, a make-up lesson can only be scheduled if the teacher has availability. If not possible, this does not entitle you to cancellation.

No, the lesson will be canceled and will not count as part of the subscription.

Yes, there is a cancellation period of 4 weeks.

Cancellation or changes to your registration must always be made in writing (by email) to admin@logblock.nl. The cancellation period is 4 lesson weeks after the first chosen subscription of 10 lessons. The first set of 10 lessons must always be completed. Without written confirmation of cancellation or change, the current subscription of 10 or 20 lessons will be tacitly renewed.

No, you can cancel after the first set of 4 lessons, taking into account the 4-week cancellation period.

Yes, any remaining lessons after the cancellation period will be refunded.

Teaching Methods & Teachers

Each teacher has their own unique way of teaching. Various resources are used such as YouTube, Spotify, textbooks, online sheet music, and music software.

Yes, all our teachers have completed a conservatory or university-level music education.

Music enjoyment is central. Every student is unique and the teacher adapts to the student’s world.

No, reading music is not mandatory but is a helpful tool that teachers recommend.

Yes, usually via email, printed material, or in a notebook.

Yes, for the trial lesson we invite a parent/family member to watch. Afterwards, we prefer one-on-one lessons. Friends may watch with permission.

Lesson Duration & Frequency

Up to 21 years: usually 30 minutes. From 21 years: 30 or 45 minutes.

Up to 21 years: usually weekly. From 21 years: weekly or biweekly.

Yes, we strive for optimal individual attention per student.

Duo Lessons

No, duo lessons are only possible for drums.

Duo students should have approximately the same age and level of experience.

Final Concerts

Yes, there is a piano recital at the beginning of the year and a performance weekend with live band at the end of the year.

No, participation is voluntary but appreciated.

Invoicing & Payment

Invoices are sent by email via MoneyBird.

Payment is online via QR code with iDEAL or by bank transfer. Cash payments are not possible.

Within 1 week after the first lesson of each period.

Yes, after multiple reminders a €15 administration fee is charged. Prolonged non-payment results in loss of lesson rights.

Because the subscription of 10 or 20 lessons can start anytime and continues after the holiday with the remaining lessons.

Our prices are based on guidelines from the Dutch Toonkunstenaars Bond and similar institutions.

Yes, prices are adjusted annually with at least 3 months’ notice.

Holidays & Vacation Days

We observe a two-week May vacation, even if government advice differs.

Missed lessons outside regular school holidays and recognized holidays will still count as lessons.
