OLEG PRILUTSKIY
Music Teacher
Piano

Hello, my name is Oleg Prilutskiy.
I am a young Russian jazz trumpeter, pianist, composer and arranger. I started taking music lessons at the age of five at the children’s jazz music school in Rostov-on-Don. There, I gained a great deal of inspiration and valuable stage experience by performing at international jazz venues and playing alongside leading jazz musicians.
After graduating from this school, I continued my musical education in St. Petersburg, where I quickly became involved in the local jazz scene and played in a wide variety of styles, ranging from jazz big bands and film music to theatre productions and Afrobeat. In 2017, I won first prize at the International Jazz Competition in Rostov-on-Don, with Alex Sipiagin serving as chairman of the jury.
In 2019, I began studying at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, where I earned a Master’s degree in Jazz Trumpet and a Bachelor’s degree in Jazz Arranging and Composition. My studies gave me the opportunity to learn from outstanding musicians such as Terrell Stafford, Ingrid Jensen, Philip Dizak, Aaron Parks and Peter Bernstein, take part in European jazz projects and further develop my own musical style. As a sideman, I became involved in the Amsterdam jazz scene and performed with various bands, including the Peter Beets New Big Band, Chris Muller Big Band, Berima Amo and Bop This! As a bandleader, I started a new project with Amsterdam-based musicians, through which I share my vision of modern jazz and perform my own compositions. After performing at local jazz clubs and theatres, the band released its debut album, “Autumn Colours”, on ZenneZ Records and presented it at various venues across the Netherlands and Belgium.
I’m looking forward to teaching, sharing experiences and meeting you at Muziekcentrum Logblock, the best music school in Amstelveen and the surrounding area.
Best, Oleg
