ULI GENENGER

At the age of 7 I started playing drums and have never stopped since then. I started with classical percussion in an orchestra and also played in a jazz combo drums. After my school years, I took lessons in Düsseldorf (Drummers Institut) and then studied at the “Drummers Collective” in New York. Back in Germany I first studied in Berlin (HdK) and after the second year I went to Amsterdam to do my bachelor and my master there. I feel at home in many different styles of rock, funk, hip hop, jazz, latin and brazil. From studio work to tours around the world with famous bands such as Ploctones, Kubat or Esra, Dalfidan’s Fidan. I have a lot of playing experience which is important for a musician and drummer. For me, the student is central. Fun is important for learning and I think that each student has his own way of learning and we will find out together. In my lessons I work a lot with music. Groove, sound control, reading notes, technique and music styles. are important parts of my lessons. Hope to see You soon at Muziekcentrum Logblock, the best Music School in Amstelveen and its surroundings.
